As you all might recall, the turn signals were not working at all on my wife's 1200

1. checked the fuses and connections--nothing

2. replaced the flasher--nothing (but now I have a new one) and from the prices honda charges should have gotten complimentary KY

3. checked my clymer--ground the blue/black wire from the canceling unit (worked-wasn't the flasher-but I knew that)

4. ground the pink wire from the canceling unit--did not work--problem was with the canceling unit

5. found a used unit in the shed (from when I rebuilt the bike) and was lowering the unit out of the steering stem and found....

6. canceling unit had disconnected inside the steering stem--plugged it in and it worked

7. paid myself mechanics wages and now am a rich man

now... how to repair the bullet holes from the 38

I'd keep the bullet holes. Lots of people buy stickers that look like bullet holes, now you have the real thing. :gunner:

Bullet-hole, you mean real ones? How did this happen?
He's only asking because they don't have any guns left 'over there'.

was a joke... I was threatening to approach this problem bike with a 38 and say "do you feel lucky?"
