First off, I'm new but wanted to sound off Kudos on a great forum here! Second, I've recieved my new coils for my '75 GL1000, they are universal and come with only two leads on each, instead of the 3 per the OEM coils. My question is how the ballast resistor gets wired with these since there is no 'extra' lead/wiring from the coils specifically for the resistor. Thanks,

hope this helps. I am taking for granted you still have points? If you switch to the electronic ignition you do not use the resisitor

Thanks alot!! and yes, I still have points, I enjoy the old school system, seems a bit easier to troubleshoot than the new electronic ignition systems. From reviewing this schematic, I'll just need work with the wiring a little, I hope to have her running this weekend. She's been sitting for 7 years, so it's just been me and my ohm meter for awhile now tracking down issues. Thanks again for the help.
