I have a 1989 GL1500 with 129,000 miles for sale in Southern California (Orange County).
Here is the feature list
Updated with later model versions of:
---Both handlebar controls (lighted versions)
---Left handlebar control (speaker fader version)
---Windshield with vent
---Headlight and trim
HID headlight bulbs (easily switched back)
Brake light modulator (& headlight modulator not installed due to HID)
Auxiliary Shifter Pivot
Heads-Up voltage monitor
Kuryakin Highway pegs
Higher quality front speakers, added rear speakers
Trunk rack, inside light, & organizers
Trunk & saddlebag mats
Cornering lights installed but not wired
Saddlebag lights (replacing stock reflectors)
Custom handlebar left mount for GPS, etc. (cast aluminum, anodized black)
Garmin Zumo 660
Additional fuse panel for electrical additions (each on it’s own fuse)
Cigarette lighter in right fairing compartment cover
Right handlebar mount for dual-RAM Mount
Heated handlebar grips
Utopia Driver backrest installed in stock seat
Rebuilt forks & installed Progressive springs and Superbrace fork brace 6k miles ago
Compu-Fire (higher amperage) alternator installed 11k miles ago
Replaced front wheel bearings 14k miles ago
Replaced speedometer & hub drive 14k miles ago
Overhaul 20k miles ago that included:
---30,000 mile regular service
------timing belts and adjusters
------water pump
------all rubber hoses (vacuum & coolant) & o-rings
------carb heat blanket
------all ignition wires & plugs
------valve cover gaskets
---Rebuilt carbs & radiators (cleaned and tested)
Custom carbon-fiber cover for the stock AM-FM-Cassette radio
New battery (just bought)
Has stock CB radio

Everything works as it should, except:
---Front tire leaks, needs air every few days
---Seat has small tear at front, covered with tape
---Oil still leaks from somewhere
Selling this because I bought a 2018 GL1800 DCT Tour & I don’t have room for both. My main goal is to get this to someone who will enjoy it. Make me an offer.

I also forgot about the Superbrace fork brace I installed. The backrest is a Utopia backrest.

Should be a good deal for someone wanting a Gold Wing without putting a lot of money into it. Does it start, and idle well without needing choke to keep it running? C.B. work? Even a Compufire alternator..

The bike runs perfectly, a little choke when cold, then after a few minutes/miles no choke needed.
