I am replacing the original left handlebar switch assembly on my 1989 GL1500 that has the radio and CB controls to a newer assembly that has all of this plus the radio fader control. All of the plugs are the same except for three things:
1) new 6-wire plug for the fader
2) new 2-wire plug I cannot figure out - the wires are green and brown with white stripe.
3) in the brown CB 4-wire plug the old plug has 4 wires and the new one only 3 - the green wire is missing.

The new 2-wire plug is a different style than all the others. I have the full service manual for my 1989 model, but this handlebar switch is off a newer model that I do not have the wiring specs for. I have the fader figured out (I think), but can anyone here help me with items 2 and 3?
