Thanks.

Looks like the credit card is going to get a bit of a hammering.

It may be different with a second hand machine but I bought a new 1500 import many years ago.

A couple of years later, I got a letter from Honda America telling there was a recall for the angle sensors. Just as I was about to think this was going to be a problem it then told me that they knew I was in the UK, not to worry and to take the letter to the dealer. If they agreed to do the work, Honda America would pay them!

The dealer knew nothing of the recall but asked for a couple of days to investigate. The next day they called back asking when I wanted to bring it in. The work was done and I remember the dealer wishing Honda UK was as easy to deal with.

Oh, and some time after the work had been done, Honda UK was still saying "problem? what problem?

I'll never buy a UK spec bike again.

I will never know why these guys buy U.S. wings. :stumped: The left hand drive looks very complicated. :whip:

You would have thought that it would be just as cheap for Honda to just fit one loom to all the Wings regardless of what country they will be sold, instead of making a cut-down loom for the European bikes.

Hey Redwing:waving:Loom-- To appear or come into view indistincly,as from below the horizon or through a mist, especially so as to seem large or ominous....that is the dictionary meaning....what skooter means I am not sure...:)

For the non-technical amongst us - as the dictionary said, plus a group of "guys" bundled together and wrapped in something like "indian cotton" not allowed to say "hemp"or what you "weave" about on when making cloth or right hand turns - like "here's an accident looming"

You guys in Europe certainly get short-changed, lower spec Wings and higher prices. :(
