Using CLR for rust removal

Sorry; couldn't locate original thread to post there.Our '95SE workhorse sidecar rig had very rusty crashbars. Removed; usedCLR w/brass wire brush. Only problem wasmy inability to see spotsmissed, withall the crudon chrome before rinsing. So, t'was necessaryto catch them later. Boy, do bars look Great! Only thing remaining, isclearcoat,to keep rustat bayforawhile.

P.S. This winter, will tackle my 14 yr.-old rusty mufflers!

Think that I'll give that a try. No time for rubbin' but more time for riddin'.

I used Eagle One never dull wadding polish on my chrome parts that were hidden due to the bags and trunk on my sei and that stuff worked great.
