Just this morning finished putting my wheels back in the 1200 (you may recall the one with the new back tyre and wheel bearings). Before I head off with the family (in the car I'm afraid) to Newry for a few days, I just wanted to tell you guys that when fitting a new tyre is is well worth going to the extra small expense of replacing the rubber valve core thing. Mine had lots of fine cracks in it and I wonder how long before it blew apart while riding.
