I've got a 79 GL1000 with Vetter bags. I've noticed that when it rains the left saddlebag gathers water inside. I know the seal is worn out, I looked at Craig Vetter's site http://www.craigvetter.com/pages/Vetter_Fairings/Vetter-Fairings-main.html (by the way the bike in the pic looks just like my bike) for the seal kit, but didn't see one. Does anyone have any ideas on how to seal the lid so it won't leak?

Thanks in advance

The bags have no drain holes. I heard from Craig vetter on this and he had the same suggestions. I'll have to give a look around and see what I can find.

I've looked at the chromme, the seal looks like it will slide out if I can find one to replace it with. But in the mean tie I did drill a small drain hole in the left one as that's the only one that seems to be leaking.
