my radio does not have a tape player. and i want to wire in a 300watt amp, any one now what wires are input and output for the honda radio?

Yes, these are the speaker outputs. There are no line outs but under the left side fairing pocket is a line in connector (male) for the Interstate only.

For other models without a line in, refer to the link mikef supplied above.

The best way I have found to handle adding watts is...


Bike radio, speaker outs to..

2 channel speaker to line level converter to..

Line in 2 channel to 5 channel graphic equalizer with active fader to...

4 channel line in x 100 Wrms per channel amp to

4 individual 90 Wrms speakers using heavy wire.

All powered by sufficient bike electrical system (CompuFire in my case) and
adequately delivered by a separate power distribution system and power controlled by a relay driven by the bike's aux power terminals.

THANKS I'LL LOOK FOR THE CONNECTOR THIS AFTERNOON AND SEE IF I CAN WIRE THE AMP IN

RUDY my intercom system is not very loud is there any way to increase sound for voice and radio through head sets? the head sets are made by j-m :shock:
