I'm looking for a rear wheel to fit my 85 1200 that will use a car tire. Looking for a wheel that would be used with a side car. Been watching flee bay see nothing but stock wheels.

Thanks

Are you pulling a side car and want to put a car tire on the rear of the bike? I don't think the 1200 rim will fit a car tire. If there is such an animal for hack's I'd like to put a car tire on the rear of mine. :action:It takes 4 hours of disassembly and another 4hours of assemblyof the back of the bike to get the rear tire off and onmy hack. Every 15-20k miles replacing tires/brakes is going to get old. I do ALL maintainence on the rear of the bike at one time wjether it needs it or not when I disassemble the rear.

I use Dunlop E3's on my 1100 Wing with Watsonian Monaco sidecar. Always get at least 10,000 miles + on rear tire.
Always have good luck with the Dunlops. Doug
