I am helping a friend find a seat for his 93 1500 goldwing. His trike is black so a black seat would be preferred but a charcoal (dark grey) would probably be ok. PM or phone (270)754-3782

Thanks Tony. He has had a corbin on the trike before and sold it. I don't think he would be interested in another.

I bought from HDL direct a replacement seat for my 1500 back in May. Price was under 200 bucks. Its seems everyone thinks a used or nearly new seat is worth 300-400 bucks on e$$y

It depends on the seat, I guess, and the person.

With all due respect,

I would never consider buying a replacement seat for a 1500 after riding on a Corbin, like I keep trying to explain to my brother - n - law,you can enjoy the whole ride, not just the beginning on a good seat.

He still thinks your behind is supposed to be numb and hurt for 2 days after a 700 mile ride....:cheeky1::cheeky1::cheeky1:

I keep telling him and telling him, but some people you just can't tell them nothing........

KYboy67. I guess no two bottoms are alike. My trike had a heated Corbin seat on it when I bought it. I was told it would take me several miles to get used to it. I toughed it out over 5000 miles this summer before taking it off. It was way too hard and uncomfortable for me. I traded it last Saturday for an Ultimate.

I have ridden it about 400 miles and the jury is still out for me. In all fairness, I got the seat used and it is made for a heavier person then me. I weigh about 175. The seat is firm but not hard like the corbin. I can tell you that it is not the perfect fit for me but even though it is not made for my weight it is more comfortable for me then the corbin. There is a seat for all butts and the corbin just happened not to fit mine. Others swear by them and are perfectly happy. I just wish I had been one of them.

I have a stock seat removed from a 1998 Spectra Red Goldwing Aspencade with 35,000 miles, always garaged. Thinking about putting it on Ebay. The seat is in good condition, no rips or tears. It does have a couple of small rough spots, looks like a cigarette burn (previous owner was a smoker) but hardly noticeable. Photos available if anyone is interested.
