Wanted . Looking to replace the upper shelter, right side, 1996 green 1500a.(color G156p -pearl green) . ( right side sitting on the bike)
OEM parts range from $240 to $340.
There must be a m/c scrap-parts business out there. Any one have a leads on GL1500 parts salvage?

ALSO parts diagrams from two different sites do not agree on the part numbers for left vs right shelters . They both indicate the part numbers of 83110-MAM-000ZC or 83120-MAM-000ZB - but one site indicates the 83110 is left and the other site indicated the 83110 is right side ???. Go figure.??

Any Ideas ??

Honda Parts house states 83110 is the Right side and 83120 is the Left side.

Hello Mike and Welcome to the group . For used parts ebay and craigslist are the places to keep an eye on . Priceing is all over the place for used parts . just do lots of looking and get a feel for it . dont bid unless your comfortable with the price . Since you have a 1500 , there should be lots of parts available .

Yeah Lots of 1500 parts are at your local breakers, e-bay has listings of all kinds, but the prices can be "heart attack city"...I bid on a pair of shelters $75.00 for BOTH sides...But got a e-mail back saying they were sold ...

heres one Buy Now for $160.00 or best offer...

Here is a pair, but look close at right side shelter, it has a piece missing...

So this only was a five minute search of just two breakers that I buy from..So get on e-bay you might find a good one ...
