Sold my 2 GM vans... 2 less headaches.
Looking for a Non-Computer mini pickup truck.

4 cylinder and NO 4x4 or Diesels.

My preference in order...
1.) Datsun 620 (kingcab?) 1973 - 1979
2.) Mitsubishi (Late 70's to early 80's)
3.) VolksWagon
4.) Dodge D-50 or Plymouth Arrow 1978 - 1984
5.) Toyota ?

Hopefully it has a trailer hitch.

From where it is, it needs to drive back to Chicago area.
Moolah to spend? About $1,000.00 (less is better)

Got both vans sold. Be a cold day in h*ll before I get another GM. Also on my rides lately I'm seeing a heck of a lot of GM products for sale. Must be contagious.

SO, just got the Wing and 2 trailers for everything.
I road through this past winter, (got down to 7 degrees) so that's not a problem.
Got enough rain gear, that's no problem.

I have a 1999 Ford Ranger I'd sell. Strong engine, runs great.. the paints a bit sunburned but mechanically sound! Dark Emerald green. King cab, long bed, has a locking hard bed cover.

Sorry didn't see you price limitations... I couldn't part with this one for less than 4K.

I know Claude... I just didn't see that about to 1000 bucks until later... it looked like part of his signature... I think that price is a bit wishful in nature.

I don't know about what things are like in Chicagoland but around these parts, age and mileage really has no impact whatsoever on the value of old trucks...

If they run AT ALL... they're probably worth 2K... so finding anything in Texas for less than that is pretty much either just parts or a pipe dream.

Anything cheaper... is probably already south of the border.

Yep. Gone are the days of $100 cars. Bought a few of the brokedown $100 cars when I was a kid, the big Detroit boats. Nobody wanted them and people were happy to get the rustbuckets out of their sight. Miss those days when spark plugs, wires dist and cap fixed most problems.
Now $1000 doesn't even get a person much.

Seen several for under a GRAND. Most are way out of state.
Washington state one was $400 another $700
One in Arizona $600 and Texas $900
Michigan $500 with a RV box on the back.
So far none have emailed me back.

Need few bucks left over to Title & Plate it and some parts if needed.
There out there, just need one I can repair.

I'm even toying with the idea of a Wing, minus the triple tree and building a covered CanAm type bike.
But takes bucks there too.
