I know this is a stab in the dark but does anyone have any 9mm 147gr. JHP ammo they would be willing to part with? No? I thought not. This is really rediculous when even the mfgrs don't have any stock on hand. All shelves are totally empty everywhere. Only ammo available here are shotgum shells. What's a guy supposed to do? I'm down to my last 30 rounds. Boo Hoo! Poor me!

I could bring you some reloads but all I have are 124 gr lead bullets. Well at least I have some bullets ordered that should be here someday.

back a few weeks ago while visiting my son in Dayton, OH where he is TDY on a job, we visited Cabala's and 9mm was just plain gone....

so, I looked around, and ordered up 1,400 rounds, from two different places.
the small box of 400 rds showed up in about a week.

the 1,000 rds took about 6 weeks.

Been trying to buy 22 longs for a month now and can't find them. No to gun control but they will probably control ammo.

Thanks Dave but not necessary. I'm just ranting. I will eventually find some.

Thanks for the link John. Seems they have what I need. First I have found anywhere.
so far, the prices noted in AmmoSeek are very close to what that Vendor is selling their product for.... AmmoSeek updates daily from what I am told.

In fact, when I was looking for a 1,000 rounds of 9mm a few months back, it found some at two different places, then discovered that one of the stores requires you to pick it up in their Brick & Motar store in Kentucky...

well, I am in Oklahoma, so I went back to the other vendor, and refreshed AmmoSeek and the other store was sold out. that took maybe 15 minutes?

So, I kept refreshing that page and finally found a store with a 1,000 rounds box and had it sent to my home.

I don't reload, so I buy the steel case ammo, it just dumps on the ground and I leave it there.

I keep 5,000 rounds of my primary calibers "in stock" and rotate as quickly as I can. But sometimes there just aren't enough squirrels around to cycle through the .45 ACP fast enough. :ROFLMAO:

I'm just sitting here waiting for my bullet order to show up. Then I am running short on primers and they are also made of unobtanium right now.

Not so long ago we were searching for toilet paper, now ammunition and primers. Go figure.

Where there is demand there will be some company willing to make a buck. That's capitalism.
In the old country we had shortage of everything for most of my life. That's socialism.
