looking to buy new/used battery side cover for 1989 gl1500. Lost mine today on ride for parts. went back to hunt for it and found it but a freaking semi ran over it and destroyed it. thanks for any help and/or leads to new cover. it is right side rear cover that covers battery.

they're hard to find and when you do, you're looking at 180.00-200.00 range.

can get brand new from honda for 175.00 with out emblems. emblems are about another 50.00. guess I will have to bit the bullet.
