My wife learned how to ride on a 250cc Honda, don't remember the model, but she took the learn to ride classes we in TMRA used to give...Then she rode that little Or 50 Suzuki a lot ...The dealership where she worked at sold Honda, Suzuki, and Moto Guzzi....The youngest son of the owner bought an LAPD V-1000 Converter (automatic) Moto Guzzi at a bike auction, still in the crate......He stripped all the LAPD decals off...painted it dark blue and rigged it out in Fairing, saddlebags, and tour box....He rode it a few miles , went back to his old Suzuki 750 "water buffalo" ...I bought that Motto Guzzi and had Roger lower the rear shocks, and the front forks, then we put a double bucket seat on it...My vertically challenged wife could touch the ground with both feet flat.....

She rode it several times and was doing real well with it, until, she stopped in front of our home and missed the street with her foot.. The street had about a 5 in drop off where the paving was broke off.....Her and the Guzzi headed into the ditch in front of our home... I rode it out of that ditch, she lost all faith in her self and never rode it again, unless she was behind me on it....I also knew some girls that rode Gold Wings, Classic Harley's,and the CB 750 Hondas every where, one lady's deceased hubby restored and rode the old Ariel square 4's....She rode one of those for many years....So All I can say if a "girl" is so inclined to ride a motorcycle, and they want to ride the biggest motorcycle out there, and they can handle it ......go for it.....

Claude......

I suppose I could write a paragraph on why that list is a load of crap but I think it would be wise if I too take the above position.

I know that list was for the ladies,,,

but I'm kinda depressed with me being in the next to the shortest segment. :baffled:

Does that mean I should get rid of my 1200??

I would tell those short ladies, after you get it rolling, your feet don't come no where near the ground. :cheeky1:

No mention of the Wife's wee Vulcan . . . . or any Vulcan (EN or VN Kawi).

She ain't much over 5 foot, and fits her EN500 perfectly.

Kinda strange list, according to that no woman can ride a 'Wing. Since we know that's BS the list probably is wrong about other bikes too.

I don't know how tall Jennifer is, but I bet she will disagree with that list as she is sportin' around on her 1100:)
