With me, it's an auditory thing. I am tuned into the engine sound and use the tach as a reference. I like rappin her out(the trike, not Barb!), and getting down the road! I was showing Barb how strong the 1500 pulls one time, and I rapped it up to just below actual "RedLine", and man does that feel great! Not abusive, just a smooth roll and shift! Ihe Goldwing enginr is the best!!jimsjinx
