Yeah, it's an aftermarket shield on the one I've seen. The vent kept popping open when I was riding on the freeway.
I spoke with the green guy and I should be gettin' a look at that bike by Tuesday.

Maybe I should be looking for something newer. I don't want to be fixin' stuff right off the bat.

The titanium (Challenger brown Y181P) on the 2004 for the first time. 2007 and 2008 also. In 2009, they had a color called Mesquite Brown that looked similar but different paint code. A little darker. The 2002 was silver stream metallic
I saw most of these when my dealer still had some models on the floor.

The 2007 would be a better choice. No more frame problems, larger radiators and possibly premium audio. Plus no reported problems with the ECM failure. The only thing to verify is the brake recall being done.

I don't think he died, he just sold his share and left.

If the 02 price is even close to what a 06, or above Gold Wing is, go with the 06 and up. Too many improvements between `02, and `06 Gold Wings, and up.

Well, except for the rack on the trunk, that 2007 seems pretty nice. Looked to be leaking on both forks though, and the rear wheel was in need of some serious cleaning.
The price was pretty high, too. $10,875 out the door.

I asked Mark if he'd trade the trunk lid and rack for the bare trunk lid on the other silver '07 they had, but he was against it.
If he'd gone for that I probably would have bought it.
