The 1200 trunks were different slightly than the 1100 trunks. Although the 1100 Hondaline trunks were detachable, they mount differently than the 1200 trunks, and the 1200 trunks were larger and more square. The Hondaline trunks and bags came out on the 1980 model GL1100I.

Are these the type of suitcase-type bag we're talking about? If so, I don't think they were ever issued as standard equipment. They were add-ons put on by dealers onto Standard models.
