Tell us what inspired the user name that you use. Mine, ubarw, refers to the cattle brand I own. It was an upside down "U", with a bar below it, and a "W" next to it.

My user name was chosen from my youth when back in the 60s I used to ride a Honda cb72 and cb450. Hence cbhon. Some of the geriatrics like myself on this site will remember the cb72 as the largest capacity (250cc) motorbike that it was legal to ride in theUKon a learners licence.

Some days I sure wish I'd kept my S&W 39 and Walther P38. Really liked those two pistols, sometimes you find one that just fits you.

Mine is just short for my last name. I think one of teh best handles here has long been snapped up by Steve Saunders, aka the wingnut. Looking around the site here convinces me that its an appropriate handle!

My nick is my real life nickname conferred on me by my Granda at birth. It means "shortpants" and the family has always pronounced it, Bruu dee.

Back in the late 70's when I started working on computers I wanted a handle that had something to do with computers, hence the name silicon. Computer chips are made of silicon, not silicone.

As for the Sam, it just sounded good to go with the Silicon part.

Axel was my grandfather's first name, and my middle name. Wik is the first three letters of my last name. I've been using axelwik as a user name for email, etc for years now.
