I just caught this on Facebook, the audio said 44k, and that it was on the bike when he bought it.
No definitive information beyond that was given, fairly short video clip of an 1800, don't know what year.

His title for the post was "You guys are going to give me hell for this"

Don't know the brand of the tire, maybe one of you will recognize the thread that is still on it?

I think he got all of the good miles that tire will ever be able to give him.

IF, I was going to guess?? The bike set up a long time with those tires on it, and when he was riding, it started throwing chunks off all at once??

No. I ran it at 41 psi. It was on there too long. I’ll have to do better.

He obviously never turns a corner at more than walking speed. By the lumps on it I would guess it's some kind of bridgestone.

If it is a Stone it has to be a really old one. The Exedra has a completely different tread pattern. Plus it looks like it was mounted in reverse.
If it does have 44k he should have been riding on the rim.

Geez, this tire has been through a lot of adventure. I normally change my tires every three or five years. I purchased a new set last month as they are at 25% discount on 4wheelonline.

I thought you had an Avon on it.

I used to go through 3 sets a year, don't ride as much anymore so it's about 1 1/2 years between tires.

d
you know, I think you are right....
we discussed the Bt45 and the Avon Roadrider, and ended up with the Avon...
been way too long since I treated that bike like it should be....
too cold, and too Covid.

Your bike has covid?
a bit of "tongue in cheek" there Dennis :)
with this Covid mess, RTEs are just about non-existent this year, and I have been hunkered down on our six acre plot of ground... much like an Island.

At least you have some space , - in some Countries here in Europe people are told to stay in their appartments !
