Where do these cushions go?

Hello:

I have been doing quite a lot of work on my recently acquired 1985 GL 1200.

Fairing removal for fork repair, top tank, seat, side covers, etc. I found these near the bike (see attachment) and for the life of me I cannot find where they go. They are 3/4" long and 5/8 tall in the shape of a T.

There is a spot that they fit into under the seat but the seat will not go in when these are installed (area is under drivers seat in section that slides into frame)

Any help would be apprieciated.

Mystery solved.

The cushions go on the bottom of a pair of plastic lawn chairs that were on a deck above the Goldwing.

They must have gotten dislodged and fell near the bike and since I had just done a lot of disassembly on the bikeI believed they were fom the bike.

Sorry all. My Bad.

Thanks to all who tried to help.

Sounds like the old prank guys used to do to each otherin the shop, just drop a handful of small parts around where someone has something disassembled.

LOLOL!!! I dropped an oil ring on the bench of a friends engine rebuild. HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

The funniest though was when we all helped a guy with his gas mileage! He was doing reaaly unbelievably good, then he started doing owrse, and worse and worse....That service manager was getting rather tired of him!!

Drip a drop or two of oil across a tire and onto the pavement of a friends car sometime to give him a challenge!
