I just got a 81 GL1100. It is in great shape and runs well. There is some starter issues, specifically on warmer days. I have read through this forum and it is a great wealth of information. I believe I have things narrowed down to the starter, so I want to replace it, if anything, it is the original starter, so I am sure things are dirty inside it. I would like to hear where you all like to get parts for your bike? I know I will be needing a rear tire before the summer is over and I also like to have a good reliable place to order parts from, any thoughts are appreciated.
