where is a good place to buy a new stator for the 1200 interstate 85 model? put two in a wing in the past, only lasted about a week.

anyone bought and replaced with good luck?

found 1 at partsnmore for 130.00 but don't know if they will last

if you havnt had much luck with stators you might want to consider a poor boy conversion

I've been using RMSTATOR. They sell high output stators. These will last. Tony:waving:

When you get it cut off the plug and solder the wires. Make sure the regulator wire plug is not burn't. Tony

i dont know if the stator has been replaced on my wing but its the same since i bought her, if it ever fails ill go for the external alternator. is not that im afraid of droping the engine, is just that i like the idea of more output and easy fixes.
