After a year of thinking about it, I decided which additional bike I want. I'm looking for a 2007 FJR 1300A.( Black Cherry ).

Looked at one last night but the owner didn't want to budge on his price, which was way too steep. Doing the usual searches and found some, but then I had an idea.

This bike isn't too old, only 2 to 3 yrs depending on when your calendar starts, so... I would think there might be one still in the crate in a warehouse somewhere just needing someone to put it together and bring her to life.

Where would I even start looking for this, or did the dealers send allthe unsold inventory back to Yamaha??

Anyone been thru this before, or have sugestions??

Thanks...

I sure hope my '03 Wing doesn't get jealous if and when her new partner comes home!!

I'd start with the big Yamaha shops. We have Shawnee Honda here and they still have a 2007 ST1300 brand new. I'm thinking the bigger the shop the better chance you have since they buy in volume. Let me do some researching here in OK and if I find something I'll PM you.

By the way the 03 shouldn't get jealous, I have four in the garage right now and they all get along just fine.

in 1982 i bought a leftover 1979 CBX . i was able to find it in the crate from the owner of a shop in Georgia a friend dealt with.
my suggestion is find a Yamaha sales manager that's willing to do the research. he can easily look in the database for FJR's in the wharehouses.
you just got to find someone who doesn't mind making an effort to keep the customer happy.

Looks like there are lots AE's left over going cheap.
That's the same one I found and PMed you on. A little pricey though for an 07 but you could probably get them way down. A lot of used under $10K with a lot of extra farkles as well.

Thanks for the info and research, keep your eyes open and let me know if you find a good deal on one! I'm gonna keep looking.

I hope with the winter months ahead, there will soon be more to choose from.
