Me too! And I started with one of the Air Hawk cushions! Didnt like it so I sold it and went with the wally world one, and never looked back...

 

I like my sheepskin and use it year 'round. Tho I am thinking of putting some memory foam under it to "fill in" the lower level of the split seat thus allowing me to sit back a little further. Since it's a sidecar rig, I don't need to worry about flat footing it.

 

I just bought American Motorcycle Specialities Comfort Max in Jumbo size. Not cheap at $115, but very high quality with gel and mem foam covered by sheepskin.

 

Air Hawk, don't leave home without it.

 

I have a sheepskin, Wally World, and Air Hawk-R. and like them all. On long trips I'll switch from one to another at gas stops. Might get some beads too, I like the variety but if I could only have one it would be the Air Hawk R. I also have a butt buffer gel pad and don't like it so it stays home on top of my shop stool.

 

I have beads, airhawk and sheepskin from alaska leather. I most always ride with the beads but after a few hundred miles I switch to the airhawk for a nice change. I have not yet tried the sheepskin on the beads but that will be something else to consider for a change.

 

I have tried a Gel pad, the folded intertube (can be found on the forum somewhere). By far the Airwak R is the way to go.

We have a sheepskin and we love it. It is a full pelt, natural coloring, sheared. It is comfy and cool in the summer and warm in the winter.

You will need the doggie brush also to brush it out every now and then. Also if it gets really wet...it smells like a wet dog. But it is a natural sheepskin, so what do you expect? Wash it with baby shampoo and hang to dry. It will take a couple of hours of riding to get used to it as it will feel odd at first. But once "set", you will wonder how you rode without it!! No more sweaty ass and droopy drawers!!

 

I have an Airhawk and a sheepskin. The Airhawk is my first choice but on a longer ride I will switch to the sheepskin or use both of them, switching out which is on top. If I could only have one it would be the Airhawk.

 

I use my God given rearend for cushioning but it has many miles on it and I am told it is still as soft as a babies butt. I will carry with me a piece of camping ground pad cut to seat shape and beveled on the edges just in case the arse bones start tearing thru my flesh, but that usually does not happen so it stays in the trunk.

Happens to me on every long ride. Not blessed with much natural padding, in fact my arse has been compared to a bag of antlers :sadguy:

That has to be part of the answer to which is the best seat cushion.... What are you starting with?
