While you wait for the bird, now is a good time to:

Check the insurance card on the bike.
Check the license plate expiration date.
Remind yourself about your driver's license expiration.

If you don't take a few moments to double check these, a LEO would be happy to do it roadside with you some day.

Motorcycles "almost always have something" expired according to a CHP officer that I know. Don't be one of those.

Good call Rgbeard! My insurance card has been out of date for 2 weeks now! Just put the new one into my wallet as I have a last minute grocery run to make at half time.
