For the most part of my trip it was dry,,,,,,,,, I was very lucky, unlike some others. The rain that I did encounter wasn't much, and it only lasted no more then an hour maybe.

Dusty Boots and I did the big ride, (from Montrose,,,,, Rt50 - 149 south - 160 west - 550 north, back to Montrose) Turned out to be 402 mile ride and was sunny all the way. The others went on shorter rides and some said they got wet.

I think some were envious and wished they followed. But they would have had to keep their throttles twisted going up the "Million Dollar Highway" (550). It was getting kinda late ya know:cool::action:

I made it all the way there and back without rain.
I did get wet a little on some of the local rides, but it wasn't anything big.
Very exciting trip.
God to meet some new faces and renew old friendships.

Glad to hear that. I know most from the Southeast had to get soaked on their way over.

I did NOT get soaked, riding from the Southeast. I got soaked riding from the Northwest, followed by getting soaked (and nearly electrocuted!) riding from the Southwest. :cooldevil: Sorry I missed out, on that southeast approach? :cheeky1:

We did pretty wel until after the Montrose event. We hit rain, lightning, sleet and snow for an hour or so between Bryce Canyon and Zion. Otherwise it was mostly dry, just a light shower now and then unti we hit cleveland OH on the way home then it was pouring the rest of the way in. On the drive back though, we were in the pickup towing the Trike.

I thought it was pretty funny because on Tuesday we went to The Black Canyon of the Gunnison and had a sunny dry day, others who went to the Colorado National Monument said they got rained on. On Wednesday we went to the Colorado National Monument and had a good day while it rained on those that went to the Black Canyon.

Definitly strange weather in that area.
