The GL1500se did look better right out of the showroom with the 2-tone paint, the GL1800 is a bit plain in comparison. But anyone I know who has or had both models say the 1800 goes handles and stops much better and has more pillion room, but the 1500 has more luggage space and is more comfortable for tall riders.
