I was wondering the same thing myself because for me the styling of the 1800 is awesome and the 1200/1500 is frumpy old mannish. As far as price is concerned I'm not convinced that an 1800 is more $$$ now than the 1500s were then. Of course prices in Canada have nothing in common with prices in the U$.
