I used to go to Honda Homecoming in Knoxville. We toured the plant an watched them being made. At that time MOST of the parts were being produced either at the main plant or the Anna engine plant nearby.
According to the tour host, some other parts were still being imported from Honda Japan. He could not give specifics, but did say that over 75% were made in the USA. Some parts were sourced from local companies. The electronics were being supplied by Honda Japan but may have not been produced by Honda. A lot of that was company secrets.
Not much different than American made cars. The main parts of the cars are made here, but a good majority of parts are imported or outsourced to specialty manufacturers. All in all, very few products are 100% American made.
