The Harley's are assembled in USA but most of the parts are from other countries. So not really not American made.

you contradict . assembled does not mean made. nor does it mean built. now adays, you can include overseas assembly. aint it grand?

Its a shame theres no way you could probably find out,but I bet it would be interesting to find out how much of the wing is outsourced to China and other countries now.

good point! maybe begin by looking at the GNP and imports to japan. everbody getting product from china so they can be politically correct and lower their carbon footprint, while china exhales.
