Many LD riders have gone to the Windbender, by FireCreek Accy's. I ride an 1800, and have been using the Windbender for about a year. It's adjustable on the height, and provides a good lift of the airstream over your head to reduce the vibration/noise from the wind shear. It has a "slot" design which allows air to flow into the low pressure area behind the windshield. Their website has a video and information describing it. Try: http://www.firecreekacc.com

Good luck! -Mike

Dang, too bad they don't make them for the older Wings.

I wonder how well they work in rain though...seems like it would put a lot of rain and road water right in your face.

That's what I have on the bike now is a Windbender but I don't like it because of the deflection of views when going around corners, its like seeing double with two views one higher than the other. Never had a problem in the rain and liked it other then the double vision. Thanks for the offer wingd but I think I found one locally.
