It is time for a new WS for my 94SE, what do you guys reccomend, and where did you get it? Anybody have a like new takeoff? I do not want a tall one, stock height only.

Thanks.

Like you, I wanted stock height but after a year of head-scratching ended up with the Tulsa standard, which is still higher than stock. I am very glad I got it. I understand that Tulsa is now under new ownership, though.

They are now under "All American Products" but you can still address Tulsa Enterprises and they will come up.

Just received my new one from them last week. 3 1/2 over tented with an 1800 vent installed instead of the 1500. Nice.

I haven't replaced mine yet, but when I do - the new one will DEFINITELY have a hole in it !!!My 15came with a stock-sized, non-ventedaftermarket one . . . . WHEW !!

Need some air.

I have had the Typhoon Windshield from Chrome World for a couple of years and amquite satisfied with it. It is taller, wider and more aerodynamic as it is 'swept back' more than the stock shield. There are a few swirls that are probably my fault but for an 'uncoated' windshield Ithink it has held up well.It is howeverslightly thicker than the stockshield and does not raise or lower when the latches on the side are released?

I installed a windshield from Memphis Shades. It is very similar to the stock shield, and was inexpensive with a built-in vent.

i got a memphis shades with vent for my 1200, and works great, a friend of mine got one for his 1500, its the same size just different mount holes, he is very happy with it. look at ebay on gmcycles great price and free shipping

I too have the standard height Memphis Shades with vent. It is slightly thicker than stock but is still adjustable. It also holds it's shape at highway speeds when fully raised unlike the stock one that has a tendence to flex. I also wanted the stock height because too many times in the past with the stock one, I have had a fogged windshield and needed to look over it for safety. I also ordered mine from Chrome World. I added a few other "must have" items to get the order over $200.00 and got free shipping on everything.
