Windshield swap

Anybody know if the 1800 and 1500 windshields are interchangeable? I looked at one the other day at the local shop and it said it was for the 1800, looked exactly like mine on the 1500. Just wondering cause if it does fit, $50 is a good deal on it. Slipstreamer tall with vent.. Oh yes one more thing, are the 450 series Progressive shocks a good investment over the stock units? Thanks, still waitin' for parts and tires for the ol' girl. Drives me crazy havin' my bike sitting in the garage half torn apart.....

hi i dont think so as they have differant part numbers and thats on several manafacturs plus the 1500 is a wider bike

no they won't fit have a used 1500 windshield in garage i tryied to put it on my GL1800 not even close
