1) you must reverse the Battery so that the bike will produce heat, not Air Conditioning.

2) you must grease the Muffler Bearings, or they will rot and fall off

.

And be sure to check the specific gravity of the blinker fluid.

Don't forget to flip the air filter, so the insulated side keeps heat IN instead of keeping it OUT.

Gotta remember to open the Knuter Valve. This allows coolant to circulate thru the crankcase so the oil doesn't freeze.

And remember to keep the ID10T valve dry throughout the winter. If it gets too cold it may have problems reconstituting in the spring to maintain a proper level of ride control.

Over the winter, periodically tighten the nut that gets loose behind the handlebars.

I was told to lift it off my cold shop floor.After 3 tries and 1 hernia I just give it up.

Dale you have missread, a lift in the UK is what you call an elevator so you should have been using hydraulics or a winch!

I live in Texas and I've never saw an elevator in an old barn. No I didn't MISREAD. No definition for MISSREAD. Websters Dictionary definition for lift. Raise to a higher position or level. That's what it means in TEXAS.WE just speak TEXAN.
