Sorry Bro. Memphis was a sunny 70 degrees today. I must have seen a 1000 two-wheelers on the roads, enjoying the weather. Oh well, we'll be packing it in also, in the coming months.

So far..;)we are still riding here in N.Idaho but our days are numbered. Hoping for another month of riding here and there....:action:

I'm in an area where sometimes we get snow and ice from November to March, and sometimes we don't. The trick is to have an activity for the non-riding months to fill the gap..... I'm lucky because I live 55 miles from a ski area. For some reason, skiing and motorcycling are similar; I get kind of the same rush for each activity. If I can ski 2-3 times a week, I can bear not riding......

Having a KLR 650 all charged up and ready to go and an electric vest handy is also essential, so you can get out for a few miles during the snowless, iceless days!

(Here's my snowbunnie wife, snowshoeing the hill where I ski patrol)

I just dusted off the ol' Field Shear for my morning commute in.......as it just started dipping into the 40's.

This is the PITA time of year in S. AZ. Cold enough in the morning that you need a heavy jacket.......but it'll still hit the 80's so that same jacket is too hot during the day.

Still, I love this time of year. The brisk 25 mile almost all hwy ride into work is a nice way to wake up.

Still riding here for now. Little cool in the morning ( 6:00am) but nice in the afternoon if the rain stays away. Will ride till the salt is used on the roads here. Tony:waving:

There is good inside of every bad thing! we do suffer from winter withdrawl in Canada but it does give you a few months to rip the bike apart & do extensive repairs, painting, customizing etc without seeing 100 bikes ride by your house on a perfect day for riding!
This winter I pull the engine apart on my Harley because im not happy with the compression. The forks are coming apart, new wheel bearings, rear tire, paint & a lil custom work for a different look. It's almost as much fun as riding because I am still goofing around with my bike!:action:

Getting cold and damp here, but I enjoy the winter tinkering with my bikes. My friends say I'd rather work on them then ride them...might be some truth to that...can't wait for spring!

I was out today, it was 5 C when I checked at home at 3. As long as the road is dry it is no different then sledding. Although on the highway the wing wouldn't come up to temp. I also figure if I have to pay insurance for 12 months, I'm going to ride as much as I can in those 12 months.

That's one think nice about Texas's winters. You can ride almost every day.
