I've still got some work to do on my daughter's sailing skiff but around here you can ride most all winter other than a couple of weeks or so. Not to mention ripping up the master bedroom in the house and rebuilding it. Been wanting to move a wall and door since we moved into this place. Of course that means replacing the floor, taking out a single vanity and putting in a double one along with all the attendant plumbing and wiring changes and the sheet rock finishing. I've been dragging my feet on the job ever since I sheet rocked, rewired, and insulated the garage along with installing a sink so I could wash up things without bringing them into the house. I just don't have a much get up and go these days, a lot of it got up and went a few years ago.:cooldevil:

Hardwood flooring is top of my list too. I am nearly done, but with other distractions, finding the time to finish that last room... it just seems to take forever.

I am pleased with results though - and no accomplished carpenter here.

Gold wing #2 is calling me from my garage where she is in pieces in various states of refurbishment. May get to do some work on her before it gets really cold. Gotta paint the engine, change the belts, refurb the starter and put the engine back in the frame. Then prep all the tupperware and get ready to paint it in the spring.

I have no intention of winterizing my bike. I have a heated garage and will take rides on the bike whenever possible. Maybe the ride will be short, like just around the block, but I will ride. All I need is some dry pavement.

I just keep on riding! I have never winterized any of my bikes - I just ride all year round.

I agree with theROADRUNNER...I have never winterized a bike...but in Texas we don't have to!

I don't winterize my bikes either. Whenever I can get out they will be ridden. I hope to paint the wing this winter if given enough time. I have a lot of other projects that need to get done first.

I just ride around in my shop till I get dizzy. :action:

I'm planning a spring, shock update on mine. The oem spring is "packing down" Not a pleasant experience on rough roads. Will do the other stuff that should be done while tank is out. Ohhhh joy :D

Of course, as soon as I get the first piece off, the sun will come out, and get in the 70's for the duration of my project.
