Hi All,

I want to add a wired FM modulator to my GL1500, but have a couple of questions.

1. Will a wired modulator "override" the a signal that is coming over the airways?

2. Is there a particulat brand that is recommended for the GW?

Thanks,

Steve

I would say the Delphi one would work pretty good.

Thats what cyclegadgets sells for use with the Roady2.

I'm not endorsing that modulator as I don't use one.

I've also looked at the wired ones at the XM sites. www.myradiostore.com and www.xmfanstore.com.

I have purchased other products from all 3 of the above mentioned places so I do endorse them as vendors.

I'd be interested in your experience as I may move to a wired modulator.

To answer #2. Yes it will broadcast the signal on that radio station just like an non wired one will. However, you supposedly get better quality for the wired because it is actually connected to the antenna.

I'm about to install my Roady2 on my GL1500 (as soon as my new antenna and Ram mounts show up). I'm hoping the non wired modulator will be sufficient.
