I have never ever dropped any of my bikes. If you see any pictures showing otherwise they are fake. :ROFL::ROFL:

It happens to the best of us Brian. Sometimes they just get tired and need a nap. When they decide to nap, there's nothing you can do other than make them comfortable. :waving::waving:

I've had two wings and yes they are hard to pick up .now I have a Valkyrie.It is worse for picking up,nowhere to grab.The way to pick up a wing is harder on a valk

Welcome, not a question of if but when, now you have graduated..

Last year a windstorm blew my shelter over and both the wing and my V65 Sabre were on their side - the wing was easy because it rolled up and over the crash bars but the smaller V65 was a brute (twice as hard for sure)

You were just practicing lifting the bike so you would know how in an emergency if someone else dropped their bike. Remember the techniche will lift a HD Ultra too.

I've come to learn, like most of us, that it's all about converting inertia into momentum with these machines we ride. In momentum, they're light as a feather.

I dropped my 1200 twice in twenty minutes. 106 degrees in the San Joaquin Valley, pulled into a gas station for fuel and liquids. Pulled up to the pump, didn't put the side stand down and BAM. Fortunately, I always fill from the right, so I wasn't pinned against the pump. Everybody saw.
Got gas, drinks and headed two blocks down to a park with shade trees to take a breather. Looked right, looked left, let out the clutch, gave it some gas, leaned a little to the left and BAM. I was still in neutral. Everybody saw.
One time I went to get the mail and, oh, never mind............:waving:

Sorry for your gravity attacks !! I do however feel a little better !

It is always good to do the occasional bank angle sensor test. I have tested mine a few times on all my Wings. :ssshh:

Yeah, I tested the bank angle sensor on my 1800 this morning. You need to do that once in a while to make sure it works. I pulled into a parking lot to answer a phone call and kicked the stand down while reaching for my phone. Unfortunately I didn't kick it ALL the way down so the bike slowly began rolling forward and heading for a brief nap. After I finished the call I did the drill and stood her back up. One tip for 1800 riders. If the gear shifter is too difficult to get at and you left the bike in neutral use the reverse switch to act as a brake to prevent the bike from rolling when raising it. Just push the reverse switch in with the ignition on but don't hit the starter. Works nicely.
