Yeah, I tested the bank angle sensor on my 1800 this morning. You need to do that once in a while to make sure it works. I pulled into a parking lot to answer a phone call and kicked the stand down while reaching for my phone. Unfortunately I didn't kick it ALL the way down so the bike slowly began rolling forward and heading for a brief nap. After I finished the call I did the drill and stood her back up. One tip for 1800 riders. If the gear shifter is too difficult to get at and you left the bike in neutral use the reverse switch to act as a brake to prevent the bike from rolling when raising it. Just push the reverse switch in with the ignition on but don't hit the starter. Works nicely.

A very good source of information and training on handling large bikes at low speed are Jerry Paladino's "Ride like a Pro" tapes. You can find several on YouTube. One of the most critical things to remember at low speed is keep your hand off the front brake. Never use at low speed maneuvering. If you hit the front brake with the handlebar turned much at all at low speed you will get lot's of practice righting your 'Wing.
