I'm looking for a mounting bracket for the Vetter Windjammer that fits a 1980 GL1100I.

Any help out there would be appreciated!!

Happy trails!

if you are looking for the brackets on the sides that bolt to bottom of fairing you can make one very easy.

Is this something like what you are looking for?

It came off my bike - 80 1100. PO took it off. I don't have the patience to try and get it back to right. I like the naked look at the moment. Maybe I will find another bike dressed.

I would like to get rid of the whole ball of wax. But you probably don't want to pay shipping from WA to PA What is it worth to ya?

Hey Thundergeezer,

I checked on the shipping. It is prohibitive! When it all fit in a 30x30 box they wanted $175.

Got it down to $75 for just the fairing but didn't actually try it in the box 24x24. Would have to fit in there diagonally. It is not so much the weight but the size.

Make me an offer for the bracket and lowers and I will see if I can't help you out.
I will probably give away the fairing - if there are any takers that is. Certainly not worth the effort to ship.

I believe they were on there - don't know where they went.

Yeah, the first post w/pic is gone too...I know it was there a few days ago...goblins...
definitely agree on the freight being prohibitive...I really have no use for the lowers w/o the fairing...rats! The bracket part where the fairing bolts to looks shorter than the mount surface on my fairing. Is the bracket stamped with "GL1100"?
Thanks!

I do know that Vetter only stamped the bike M/N# on the brackets for the GL1100 & CB750. The rest have a part # that even Craig Vetter can't tell what they go on! LOL
Bob, I'll PM you after I've had a chance to get a few hours sleep.
Tnx!

I still have the bracket for my setup. I have the setup sold but am not delivering it immediately I can take the bracket and maybe get one made like it and send it to you. I'd have it done for cost and ship it to you for shipping price + cost since the deal we were working on fell through. Let me know if you are interested.

Hi Jeff,

Thanks for the offer, but keep your stuff together... That is really a nice setup!

Here's the bracket I have now...not even close enough to modify for my 1100.

yep thats a vetter bracket. there is a differance though on the width of the half round circles between 1000 and 1100. JB
