I'd like to find a Honda 50 mini trail of a certain type/style.
Metallic red, has real gas tank between seat and triple tree, headlight and tail light, fold down handle bars.
Engine was about a 50cc and was a 3 sp tranny which did not use a clutch.
It was built around the mid to late 60's and maybe 70's?
As I recall, this was like a motorcycle with working forks and rear shocks.
Not the solid tube forks and solid rear frame like other mini bikes had.

I had one of these as a kid, my first bike LOL
Not sure what year I got mine or when all they were built, but I got mine new sometime in the late 60's I think and looking for the same thing.

I'm not looking for any collector show piece, but one in decent shape to ride dirt roads and the woods, or cheap if bad shape needing rebuilt.

Let me know if you have one laying around.

I dont think the original Z50 had rear shocks . I think the next gen was QA 50 and had just some body changes IIRC .

You are both real close!

In the video that first mini bike is almost it, looks like the muffler is inside the frame though and should be outside on what I'd like to find. Tank should been all red also, bit otherwise looks like correct type.

That ad picture of 3 mini bikes looks to maybe have one, that one in rear, though too much labeling on the tank.. I think that muffler is correct, but if a 1979 50 either they made them a really long time or it's not really the same one.
Maybe he has the wrong year? 1969 would be closer to the correct year
