Installed an XM Sirrius radio on my Gl1800 and get static through my headset but not through the dash speakers. Headset works fine with regular radio. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

its gotta be in the headset of your helmet ! I would check all your connections from the bike to the Helmet possibley a broken wire in the cord from the helmet to the bike so check all the connections & If need be you can go to Sierra Electronics www.sierra-mc.com or call (937)335-8939or toll free (800)338-6938 anyway if you need a new cord they will have the cords that you need ! Good luck

Thanks for your suggestion. I will check for broken wires again but the headset works for everything else.. the cb and both am and fm stations as well as my IPod going through the aux.
