Good question.
Well the citizens do have a certain blame on them. Cause ALL the people who worked and lived in the government surroundings were "active" in sucking out money creating the hole in our economy.
But if we are to blame them... let's not forget the other European companies (i.e. Siemens, German submarine company etc)who traded with the Greek government and handed out black commissions to the dealers! Those were MILLIONS of Euros!
Stories like that bloom from time to time now that the soil is moist. What happens to them who are uncovered? NOTHING! While our missing capital is sitting in Swiss banks.
Yet I am sure there are cases like this world wide.... we just exaggerated the amounts for such a weak country.
