We all know that wings are great for long rides. I have to say that the wing is also awesome for short rides.
It was a full day, lots of issues relating to the wellbeing of my Fdaughter. It so important to get all that right, ya know? I needed the breeze in my face to blow all the stress away. So, out I went, the plan was an hour or two. This was the first time in two years I've intentionally gone out after dusk, due to visibility issues through that overtall windshield. Now I've cut it down, and can see over the top like I should.
Before I even got to the onramp, I felt the rain. I knew it would be a short ride, that I was going to go only to the next exit, to check out the wind buffeting from the shorter windshield. Hit the offramp, take the curviest route back home, and call it good. It was hailing when I pulled in the garage. A total of about 10 miles.
Yin and Yang. Wings are great on long hauls. But there's no such thing as too short a ride, either. They are great on a short run too... Good golly I love my wing...:waving:
I will need permission from her foster program to do that. I will ask her if she is interested, and see where we end up.
And ya, she is beautiful. She's brought me to tears several times already, tears of joy in who she is...
Tears of sadness in how much she's missed out on. Her test scores show that academically she is a fourth grader, when she should be in 8th this fall. Its not her fault, its her history. I believe in her... We have much work to do, I will give it my best...
Richard, It's not the length of the ride......Sometimes it's just the ride.
God bless you for doing what your doing.............
I know how hard it is, we still have 3 girls at home, 10th, 9th, and 8th grades.................. It takes someone special to do what your doing for her.
P.S. still wish you were going to Montrose, be cool
glad to hear what your doing for this girl. don't know her past but sounds like there should be tears of joy for her future:waving::action: good luck and God bless
