I second the ABS plumbing cement but I recommend using the primer first. They are both available at any building center.

I used a 2 part plastic repair epoxy from Ace Hardware.
It was very strong.

I used Loctite Gel Superglue in the Control bottle. So far I have used it to reattach one of the pins on the L side panel and to repair one of the lugs on the L front fairing. The gel is really better than the instant stuff. The gel type lasts longer than the usual super glue.

In fixing PO's mess ups, I've come across several cracks and breaks in my plastic (even a couple missing pieces). I bought some ABScement (as recommended above), and together with some 4" - 4oz fiberglassroll I had left-over from building my daughter a boat, managed to get several repairs done last night. There are some breaks (that are poorly repaired) in the fairing that I plan to attack if I can get to them without messing it up too much.

This stuff works slicker that pigeon poo on church steps!

I use a product called "Plastic Weld" it can be purchased at auto parts stores like Autozone or Advanced Auto, Pep Boys. It costs about $5.00 for a couple of ounces. It is a 2 part adhesive. If you store it in the refrigerator it prolongs the shelf life. If not, once it is opened it goes bad after about 3 months. If you are repairing a crack, back up the crack with a scrap piece of ABS. I got mine from a business that makes signs -for free.

To shape the ABS, warmed it up in a toaster oven to about 140 degrees F, apply the warmed piece to the area to be repaired until cool, so it will take shape. Apply adhesive to patch, hold in place to damaged area for a few minutes and that's it. Cures in about 15 min. It can be sanded and painted as needed. It will glue almost anything. esp. skin
