Shop Manual indicates that the standard spark plugs are to be replaced at 16,000 miles. Valve clearance is to be checked at 32,000 miles.
You need not worry about the original plugs seizing in the head. Plugs coated for aluminum heads and properly torqued will not seize. I replace plugs in Honda cars with well over 100,000 miles and have never had an original plug not come right out. The seize usually because they were left too loose when replaced and combustion residue works it's way up around the threads. Removing and re-installing a used plug is more likely to cause it to seize than just leaving them alone. Tighten them to the proper torque with no oil or grease on the threads and they will always come out. If you don't have a torque wrench to tighten them with just tighten until you feel the gasket crush.
