Radio Shack voltmeter

Here is a picture of a voltmeter I found at Radio Shack. It is also a thermometer or clock and stores the daily minimum and maximum temps. The LCD display runs on 2 AAA batteries. (I think mine are getting weak).
Radio Shack item number 63-1039. The good news is it cost me $10. The bad news is our local store had it on close-out. It may be avalible from their catalog.

Dman, I'm not sure. It's kinda under the speeker front to help shield it. I guess time will tell!

That not a waterproof unit, it's meant for the insides of cars etc.

I was happy to run across this think for only $10. I mounted it so if it craps out, I can remove it without any mounting holes left to show. I hope rain doesn't ruin it, and will have cover it when washing.

I had a similar one to this. I smeared silicone along the crack where the two halves join and it kept the rain out perfectly for pver a year, until someone stole it off the bike. :X

you can read the manual about spec's.....It says not to place where it will get wet! But Silicone will/can make it waterproof!!
