Sorry to bring this up again but I didn't see my problem in the past throttle cable issues.
When I release the throttle the RPM will not return to 850 RPM. Most of the times it stays at over 1000 RPM unless I push closed on the throttle.
The cable are not binding. I lubed them. I checked the cruise junction box, and all looks good there.
What I did notice is the throttle cam on the carbs does not go all the way to the idol adjust screw.
I took the cables off the bracket just before the cam and it still does not go to the stop.
I think the carbs are going to have to come off and be rebuilt which i'm sure is going to be expensive.
Has anybody seen this before? I've heard of one person that took their carbs off and took the butterfly vales out. When they put them back in there was an alignment issue that may have caused the same type of problem.
